Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following essential skills and competencies:
- Prior commercial experience in an infrastructure role.
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange and VMware vSphere environments.
- Proficient in Windows Server Update Services, Active Directory, and similar infrastructure technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
- Capability to manage security baselines and hardening of servers.
- A strong technical understanding of network and IT security.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Must be able to travel and hold a valid driving license.
- Willing and eligible to obtain security clearance.
Desirable skills include:
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux system administration.
- Experience with Network Attached Storage.
- Familiarity with SIEM solutions.
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence.
- Broad knowledge of regulatory compliance.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployment methods.
Responsibilities
As our Infrastructure Security Engineer, I will be responsible for the following duties:
- Conduct field installation and provide support for infrastructure hosting our products, often in secure environments.
- Ensure that all PCs and servers are appropriately hardened and secured according to industry best practices.
- Manage Domain Controller Administration to ensure high availability and monitor replication.
- Implement periodic patching schedules for all PCs and Windows Servers in customer environments.
- Deploy and configure suitable anti-virus solutions for all servers and workstations.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
- Document processes and provide knowledge transfer across multiple groups internally and externally.
- Assist customers with hardware and software upgrades and act as the interface for New Infrastructure Introduction.
- Help customers with equipment configuration and provide training on infrastructure operations.
- Provide remote support to our customer base and participate in troubleshooting calls.
- Engage in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support, requiring 25-50% travel, including domestic and international trips.

Security clearance or the willingness and ability to obtain and maintain it is required. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related field is desired, along with five years of experience in high tech, preferably in the telecom sector.
