Must:
We are looking for a candidate who has strong experience with KDB and q programming, along with a background in financial services, trading, or market data environments. Proficiency in query optimization and handling large datasets is essential, as is knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and scripting. Experience with real-time data processing is highly desirable. The ideal applicant will have the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while also collaborating with teams.
Responsibilities
As our Senior KDB Developer, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance KDB databases and applications. Your key responsibilities will include optimizing queries and data structures to improve system efficiency and collaborating with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions. Additionally, you will ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance in high-frequency data environments while contributing to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment of KDB solutions.
