Must:
We are looking for an exceptional Solutions Architect with a technical background in applications, systems, and software development. You should have strong experience designing solutions architecture across both cloud and legacy systems. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with individuals at all levels of our organization. Industry certifications such as TOGAF or ITIL, or equivalent experience in solutions architecture, are preferred. Additionally, you should have a proven ability to guide technical product design and possess experience working in agile or DevOps environments.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to design and govern technical architecture across systems and cloud platforms while maintaining alignment with our technology roadmap. You will work alongside another Solutions Architect and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, product needs, and technical implications. It will be your responsibility to translate these business and product requirements into scalable and secure solution designs. You will lead technical design sessions, ensuring clarity in decision-making across delivery teams and champion architectural standards and best practices, including DevOps methodologies. Finally, you will support the smooth rollout of new systems, ensuring that technical architecture is embedded in delivery programs.
Description
This is a remote role with the expectation of traveling to our Central London office once a month (expenses will be covered). We are undertaking a significant application replacement program to maintain our critical application environment and ensure it’s utilized to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in software coding or low-code solutions and a willingness to engage with commercial, off-the-shelf products. You will co-own the technology roadmap, influence architecture decisions, and enable scalable, secure, and well-integrated solutions across a range of services. The salary for this position ranges from £60,000 to £70,000.
