Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate who is proficient in React, including Hooks, Context, and state management. You should have a strong grasp of JavaScript (ES6) and TypeScript, along with experience integrating APIs into applications. A solid understanding of modern CSS design frameworks and version control using Git is essential. Experience with GraphQL for flexible data querying, familiarity with frontend testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library, and a basic understanding of Docker and containerized development are desirable. Additionally, having experience in a Linux environment and domain knowledge in ERP systems, order processing, or inventory management would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop modern, responsive UI components using React, Hooks, and Context API. You will also build and maintain reusable component libraries for scalable UI development. Close collaboration with product managers and backend developers is crucial to refine user experiences, and you will participate in Agile sprints while contributing to continuous delivery practices. Optimizing performance and maintaining high standards in accessibility and responsiveness is part of your responsibility, as well as troubleshooting and resolving frontend issues in production environments. Furthermore, you will contribute to the technical direction and implementation of best practices in frontend architecture.
Description
This position is based in Kidderminster, and we offer a hybrid working model, allowing you to work in-office two days a week. The salary for this role ranges from £45,000 to £55,000, commensurate with your experience. We are excited to find a Front-End Developer who possesses exceptional experience using React, as you will play a key role in developing user-friendly and performant interfaces against a robust ERP platform. Your work will have a tangible impact on our customers' day-to-day operations.
