Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer with the following skills:
- React and Typescript
- Relational database design, SQL, Postgres
- REST APIs
- Any of the following would be very desirable: Node, Tailwind, Docker
- Strong product focus, with the ability to understand problems and communicate directly with customers
- A genuine interest in climate tech and sustainability
- Strong team player, collaborative, and impact-driven
Responsibilities
In this role, you will work within a small development team and have the opportunity to contribute across the entire stack on our core product. Our platform consists of various applications, integrations with hardware and monitoring systems, as well as data collection and processing apps. You'll be able to add value on a wide range of projects while collaborating with highly motivated developers. We encourage learning, collaboration, and skill enhancement, as well as experimentation with new technologies. We expect you to communicate effectively with customers, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, and maintain a high quality standard of coding. We are a fast-growing Climate Tech startup with exciting projects and a collaborative, mission-driven team. We have developed a platform that aids in the transition away from fossil fuel heating in homes, significantly reducing carbon emissions while also lowering homeowner energy bills. As we scale and continue to achieve great success, now is a great time for you to join us. Our office is located in Central Bristol, and we offer a hybrid work model, with 2-3 days in the office each week. We value your talents and are looking at a range of experience with a salary between £65K-95K, along with equity/options to ensure you feel embedded in our company's success. We also provide 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays) and the opportunity to work from abroad for up to 30 days each year. As we grow, there will be excellent opportunities for career progression, and you will learn from individuals who have previously built Net-Zero products.
