Requirements
Must:
- I seek candidates with experience in Java (Spring Boot) and AWS cloud services (ECR, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Apigee).
- Proficiency in AngularJS, Jenkins, Karate, Node 10, Groovy, Bash, and TypeScript is essential.
- Knowledge of Gherkin, Cypress, and Jest is required.
- Familiarity with tooling such as GitLab, Jenkins, CloudFormation, Maven, Docker, Fortify on Demand, and SonarQube is expected.
- Candidates should hold an AWS DevOps Engineer certification or higher.
- A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle is necessary.
- We value the ability to apply secure coding practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles is beneficial.
- ITIL certification is desirable.
- Prior experience of working in Agile teams is important.
Responsibilities
- I will need you to write clean, secure code using a test-driven approach.
- You will create reusable and open code while collaborating with other developers.
- Your role will include fixing service faults and maintaining infrastructure.
- I expect you to apply modern development standards and use prototyping methods and tools.
- You’ll design and build software components and support integration between systems.
- Focusing on user needs and experience will be essential.
- You will operate and improve production services and provide Level 3 (L3) support 24/7, which includes out-of-hours on-call support.
Description
In this role, you will design, run, and improve software that meets user needs. We are looking for a competent Java developer with significant experience in AWS cloud services, and you should be proficient in tools such as AngularJS, Jenkins, Karate, Gherkin, and Cypress, among others. Your expertise in deploying to native AWS services like ECS, S3, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions will be invaluable to our team. Additionally, an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional accreditation or higher is expected for this position.
