Must:
We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Technician with 1-2+ years of experience in an IT support role. You should have knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and Active Directory. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a customer-focused attitude and strong attention to detail. Experience in an educational environment is a bonus.
Responsibilities
As our IT Technician, you will support and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy. You will manage user accounts, network connectivity, and Wi-Fi, as well as build, configure, and deploy end-user devices (including MS Surface via Intune). Your role will involve providing day-to-day IT and AV support to staff and students, maintaining software images, antivirus, and OS updates, and supporting Google Workspace for Education and Microsoft 365 environments.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and growing education-focused IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) at one of the UK’s most prestigious co-educational state boarding schools in Surrey. It’s a full-time position with typical hours from 10:00 to 18:00, though we offer flexibility. Our school is renowned for its outstanding academic results and forward-thinking approach to technology, and you will be part of a small, supportive onsite IT team ensuring the school’s IT systems are reliable, secure, and ready to support teaching and learning. We offer personal development and training opportunities, lunch during term time, free parking, and access to school facilities. Additionally, we provide 23 days of holiday (rising to 25) plus Bank Holidays. Please note that safeguarding is paramount, and the successful candidate will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
