Must:
We require a strong understanding of integration concepts and technologies. You should have significant experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and its various components, including Mule ESB, API Manager, and CloudHub. Proficiency in Java programming is essential, along with experience in other programming languages such as XML, JSON, and SQL. A solid grasp of RESTful web services, SOAP, and other integration protocols is expected. Familiarity with API design and development best practices, along with experience in Agile software development methodologies, is also necessary. You should possess strong problem-solving skills, good communication and teamwork abilities, and have experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. While MuleSoft certifications, such as MuleSoft Certified Developer, are a plus, we also value experience with cloud-based integration platforms and excellent collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
As a MuleSoft Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will build and maintain integration flows using Anypoint Studio and create custom connectors and modules. Collaborating with other developers and stakeholders, you'll translate business requirements into effective integration solutions while troubleshooting and debugging integration issues. You will provide support and maintenance for deployed solutions and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in MuleSoft and the integration space. Your role will also involve participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, analyzing and designing system requirements, creating RAML Specifications as API contracts for development, and understanding and implementing DataWeave scripts. You will communicate with project clients and onshore counterparts, deploy APIs to Cloudhub, Runtime Fabric, and on-premises workers, practice API-Led Connectivity, implement basic policies in API Manager, and create/manage basic CI/CD pipelines.
Description
This role is hybrid-based in Winchester/Fareham with a duration of 12 months. We offer a competitive day rate of £475 - £520 inside IR35. NPPV3 Clearance is required for this position.
