Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience as an SAP Basis Lead / Support
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC6
- Proven ability to manage SAP Basis and lead technical activities
- Experience in end-to-end SAP Basis management, including maintenance, support, and optimization
- Knowledge in SAP upgrades, migrations, and best practices to ensure a stable environment
- Proficiency in managing core activities related to the SAP Basis roadmap
- Familiarity with various applications, databases, and operating systems
- Experience with DB2 and Hana databases
- Desirable experience in public cloud platforms, specifically AWS
- Proven track record of delivering SAP Basis projects within a public cloud architecture like AWS
- Skills in designing and implementing SAP Basis strategies, particularly RISE with SAP
- Experience in SAP Change and Transport Management processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to partner with third parties to govern and maintain SAP Basis tasks
- Collaborative team player who is self-motivated and flexible
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stable operation of the SAP landscape
- Drive the SAP Basis roadmap, managing core activities to maintain an efficient environment
- Oversee end-to-end management of SAP Basis, including upgrades and migrations
- Design and implement SAP Basis strategies, particularly focusing on RISE with SAP
- Collaborate with third parties to effectively govern and maintain SAP Basis tasks
- Deliver SAP Basis projects in a public cloud architecture, primarily using AWS
- Engage with stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains for effective communication and collaboration
Description
We are seeking an SAP Basis Lead to join our team on a permanent basis with a competitive salary of £80k, alongside a £5.4k car allowance and a 5% bonus, plus an attractive benefits package. This role is hybrid and flexible, allowing for a balance between remote work and on-site engagement in Southampton, Hampshire.
