Requirements
Must:
As a Systems Engineering Lead, you must demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in systems engineering principles, particularly in the development lifecycle, requirements management, design, and baseline management. You should be well-versed with the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook and have experience with both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies. Proficiency in performing Trade Studies, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations to stakeholders is essential, along with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
Desirable technical knowledge includes familiarity with on-premise infrastructure solutions such as VMWare ESXI and SAN storage, as well as experience with AWS-based cloud solutions. Prior experience in a bid or pre-sales environment, along with knowledge of TOGAF/MODAF, is also beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver IT services to a central government agency. You will engage in cross-functional collaboration within the business and with customers, applying your systems engineering expertise to software-intensive and cloud-hosted systems. Your primary responsibility will be to execute and lead systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle, working closely with both customers and suppliers.
