Lead Enterprise Architect - Data und KI

As part of your principal accountabilities, you will define our enterprise data architecture vision, target state, and guiding principles in alignment with business priorities and regulatory frameworks. You will lead the architecture for enterprise data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, Power BI, and Informatica, establishing enterprise-wide standards for master data, metadata, lineage, and data stewardship. Collaboration with business and domain architects to identify key data domains is essential, as is providing architectural oversight for major initiatives in data ingestion, transformation, and analytics. You will define data access, privacy, quality, and lifecycle management policies at the enterprise level, champion enterprise taxonomies, data product strategies, and federated governance. Staying informed about innovations such as data mesh, lakehouse, and generative AI for enterprise applicability will be crucial in your role, along with making key decisions regarding centralized versus federated data ownership, selecting appropriate architecture patterns, and balancing foundational governance work with business-driven data initiatives. We also value experience in working within highly regulated global environments and familiarity with advanced data architecture concepts. A strong background in developing architecture models, roadmaps, and principles is required, and experience with frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman will be advantageous. An educational background at degree level or equivalent professional experience is necessary, with an MBA or postgraduate diploma preferred.
