Requirements
Must:
- Strong design engineering experience in utilizing technologies from global network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet.
- Experience in delivering secure network solutions that conform to customer security accreditation processes.
- Hold industry-recognized network certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP and Juniper JNCIS-ENT.
- Good communication skills and experience working with multiple project stakeholders.
- Experience with technical governance processes and an understanding of the need for input into delivery project plans.
- Awareness of risks and dependencies associated with delivery projects.
- Good written and communication skills, with strong evidence of producing and governing design artifacts (such as HLDs, LLDs, and build documents) during a solution lifecycle.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be responsible for the network design and communication of structures that will enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions, meeting both current and future business needs.
Description
This position is for a duration of 6 months, with the potential for further work. You will work onsite in Portsmouth with some flexibility for remote work. Please note that this role is inside IR35 and requires either SC or DV security clearance. Due to the urgency of this position, candidates who currently hold or have held high-level security clearance in the past are especially welcome to apply. Successful applicants will need to be security cleared prior to their appointment, which can take a minimum of 10 weeks.
