Requirements
Must:
To be considered for this role, you must have strong, recent hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Leading small software development teams
- Front-end development with React and JavaScript
- Microsoft Azure cloud platform (not AWS or GCP)
- .NET backend development
- Event-driven architecture and event sourcing
- Experience in or exposure to the financial services industry (highly beneficial)
Responsibilities
As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a small software development team, ensuring efficient project delivery using React for front-end and .NET for back-end solutions. You will leverage the Microsoft Azure cloud platform to create innovative solutions while implementing event-driven architecture. You will work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders, especially within the financial services sector, to meet project goals.
Description
This is a hybrid role, with occasional on-site meetings in the City of London. We are seeking candidates based in the South East of England who can commute to London when required. The initial contract duration is 6 months with the potential for extension. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and applicants must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of London.
