Must:
I am looking for candidates who have proven experience in designing and reviewing secure system architectures using recognized patterns and principles. You should have the ability to enable and inform risk-based decisions, identify vulnerabilities, and prevent and respond to cyber breaches. A track record of protecting organizational assets through effective security measures is essential. Strong communication skills are a must, as you will engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. I also expect you to be actively informed of industry trends and developments, applying emerging technologies in a creative and cost-effective way.

Responsibilities

In this role, I need you to provide expert security architecture advice across various projects and programs. You will influence risk-based decisions and engage with senior stakeholders. Reviewing and assuring designs to ensure that security is embedded throughout the lifecycle is crucial. You will support implementation teams by providing practical security guidance and contribute to the development of security principles, patterns, and future roadmaps. Additionally, I encourage you to mentor colleagues and share your expertise across the organization.

Joining HM Land Registry during our new 5-year digital transformation strategy is an exciting opportunity. We are looking for two Senior Security Architects to join our Transformation and Technology directorate. This role will help strengthen our security and architectural capability by offering both strategic advice and practical expertise. The position sits within our Security Domain of the Architecture Practice, shaping the organization's technology strategy and roadmap. While the salary ranges from £64,300 to £71,300, you will also benefit from a 29% pension contribution plus various Civil Service benefits. Our ambition is to be the leading land registry for speed, simplicity, and an open approach to data, reinforcing the security of land and property ownership valued at £7 trillion.
