Requirements
Must:
- Managing, maintaining, and utilizing Cosmos DB Resource Unit (RU) usage, with optimization experience
- Understanding the differences in RU and Vcore usage for optimization of incoming data
- Hands-on experience in database administration in Cosmos DB
- Experience in designing partitions for new incoming data
- Ability to analyze new data and align partition keys in the database
- Advanced proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core with strong object-oriented design principles
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop cloud-native applications using Azure Cosmos DB (SQL API and Mongo API)
- Design and implement partitioning strategies, indexing, and consistency models
- Build reusable libraries and frameworks in C#/.NET or Node.js
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Monitor and optimize Cosmos DB performance using Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Implement automated testing and unit testing frameworks
- Collaborate with solution architects and DevOps teams to integrate Cosmos DB into microservices
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data protection standards
Description
We are looking for an Azure Cosmos DB Developer to join our team in London. This permanent position plays a critical role in designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications tailored for banking and financial services. You will architect cloud-native solutions using Azure Cosmos DB, implement effective strategies to support real-time financial data processing, and streamline delivery through robust CI/CD pipelines.
