Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone technically strong, curious, and collaborative, with a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for data. You must have:
- A 2:1 degree (or higher) in a technical or business-related discipline
- 2 years' experience with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
- 2 years' experience with Power Automate or Logic Apps
- Strong data modeling, ETL/ELT, and SQL/database experience
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
- Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams
- Attention to detail and great time management
- UK-based and legally eligible to work in the UK
- Willingness to travel occasionally and stay overnight if required
Bonus points for:
- A Master's or PhD in a STEM subject
- Microsoft PL-300 certification
- Experience with data lakes, iPaaS, XML, and JSON
- Understanding of business analysis, transformation, and workflow design
- Previous experience working with clients in a consulting or support setting
- A full clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering tailored Power BI solutions and data automation projects for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI reports using DAX and Power Query
- Designing automated workflows with Power Automate and AI Builder
- Conducting data manipulation, transformation, and protection using Excel and other tools
- Configuring and maintaining business support systems and dashboards
- Leading business analysis sessions and presenting technical solutions to stakeholders
- Writing clear technical documentation and supporting procurement processes
- Staying on top of the latest developments in Power Platform and BI technologies
- Working closely with leadership to shape the company's technical direction
- Meeting utilization and billing targets as part of a professional services team
