Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with extensive experience in DevOps and Cloud Native Infrastructure development, particularly within a Microsoft environment. You should have a solid background in the following areas, listed in order of importance:
- DevSecOps or Cloud Security
- C# Development
- Azure DevOps
- Kubernetes (AKS - Azure), Cloud Compute, Storage & Networking
- Azure CAF & Azure Frameworks
- Azure Enterprise Landing Zones (ELZ), Policy, Local HCI Stack
- Terraform Scripting & Automation (Powershell, Bash, Python, YAML)
- Linux
- Experience with AWS is advantageous.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will lead a team of four DevOps and Platform Engineers while also deputizing for the Head of Software Engineering. This position is primarily technical, though only 10-20% of my time will be spent on hands-on tasks. My responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical oversight and leadership
- Developing platform strategy and design
- Conducting one-on-ones and appraisals
- Offering coaching and mentoring to my team
- Managing stakeholder relations across the business
- Overseeing FinOps, budgeting, and cost control.
