Must:
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in JavaScript frameworks, microservices, and API development. You should have experience in building modern applications using cloud-native architectures. Proven leadership experience in large technical teams is essential, along with an Agile and product-focused mindset. You should have expertise in engineering culture, DevSecOps, and automation, as well as experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. We value strategic thinking, innovation, and thought leadership in a technical context, and you should possess the ability to measure, mentor, and uplift engineering maturity across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead engineering strategy and delivery across feature teams, fostering a strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will evangelize emerging technologies and modern engineering practices while mentoring and guiding large technical teams to promote high standards in code quality, DevSecOps, and automation. Additionally, you will drive the development of cloud-native applications with a particular focus on modern JavaScript frameworks and API/microservices architecture. Monitoring and improving engineering maturity across teams, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, manage technical dependencies, and communicate effectively through strong storytelling and influence.
Description
As a Platform Engineering Lead, you will champion knowledge sharing across labs and engineering communities, ensuring engineering excellence and strategic interventions are aligned with platform priorities. You will oversee governance and delivery that aligns with Agile events and enterprise planning, including QBRs and Big Room Planning. While experience in the insurance domain is advantageous, your ability to manage technical debt and risk effectively will be crucial in driving the success of our engineering initiatives.
