Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Principal Software Engineer
- Active NPPV3 and Active Security Clearance (SC)
- Proven experience in migration of legacy (Java) to modern versions (EE/EJB to Spring)
- Migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL, and from Data Centre to Cloud (AWS)
- Understanding of Java Standard Edition 8, Java Enterprise Edition 5, 6, and 11
- Demonstrable experience with PL/SQL development
- Some skills in GIS (JavaScript/OpenLayers, TileCache, and MapServer)
- Experience in platforms/operating systems (Oracle Solaris/Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/Microsoft Windows 2k8, 2k16, 2k19)

- Work on the migration of legacy systems and databases to modern frameworks and cloud environments

Description
We require a Principal Software Engineer with active NPPV3 and SC clearance for a contract position offering up to £635 per day (Inside IR35) in London / Remote for a duration of 6 to 12 months. The ideal candidate will have immediate availability and be enthusiastic about tackling challenging projects in a consultancy setting. Additional knowledge in IBM Initiate - Master Data Management, Nginx, Apache Tomcat, ETL, and experience with Cognitec FaceVACS and MiniO operating systems and virtualization would be considered advantageous.
