Requirements
Must:
- I have hands-on practical experience in System Design, Application Development, Testing, and operational Stability.
- I possess experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining technologies and frameworks such as Java, J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Angular, JavaScript, and REST API.
- I have exposure to Database Servers such as Oracle and NoSQL databases like Cassandra.
- I am knowledgeable in Database ORM frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA.
- I have hands-on experience in Microservices that run on Cloud Platforms, preferably AWS.
- I am acquainted with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- I have experience across the entire software development life cycle.
- I have exposure to agile methodologies and CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- I am familiar with testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber for Unit Testing and Automation Testing.
- I can effectively manage expectations of non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- I will execute creative software solutions, focusing on design, development, and technical troubleshooting while thinking beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- I will develop secure and high-quality production code and review/debug code written by others.
- I will identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to enhance the overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
- I will lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and encourage the use of new and leading-edge technologies.
- I will contribute to a team culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
- I will provide guidance by leading, mentoring, and coaching a team of software engineers.

This role is for a JAVA Full Stack Lead Software Engineer based in Glasgow, working in a hybrid environment with 3 to 5 days onsite.
