Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in report writing with Oracle Fusion reporting tools.
- Hands-on experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, FRS, and Oracle Smart View.
- Proven experience in SQL, database querying, and building data models.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and communicating with both business and IT stakeholders.
- Prior experience in creating reports and dashboards for Fusion Cloud Applications is essential.
- Proven experience in Oracle Fusion Modules (Fusion EBS R12): HCM, Finance, Procurement, and Projects.
Responsibilities
- I will design and develop reports and dashboards using Oracle Reporting tools such as BI Publisher, OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), FRS (Financial Reporting Studio), and Smart View.
- I will build complex data models and data extracts to meet business requirements, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
- I will create dashboards and interactive visualizations for users to analyze real-time data.
- I will work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements, including purpose and performance.
- I will provide support and training to business users and the in-house reporting team.
- I will document report specifications, data sources, and business logic to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability.
- I will coach and train junior members of the team on financial reporting.
- I will maintain and update existing reports based on business requirements.
- I will ensure adherence to data governance policies and best practices for data security and compliance.
Description
We are offering a hybrid working arrangement in the Birmingham area, with 1-2 days on-site each week, but we maintain flexibility. The rate for this position is £550 per day, inside IR35 (through umbrella). I am looking for someone with proficiency in Oracle Fusion Cloud application modules: HCM, Finance, Procurement, and Projects, along with in-depth knowledge of Oracle reporting tools. Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities are essential for this role.
