Requirements
Must:
As an ideal candidate, you will have previous experience in a similar role, championing Cloud Operations, DevOps, and SRE principles, approaches, and best practices. You should have experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines (or equivalent tooling) and have worked within an Agile working environment. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code is essential, including experience with Azure Bicep, ARM, or Terraform. Additionally, you should have excellent experience using Azure broadly, including designing and developing small infrastructures and understanding networking infrastructure concepts such as Azure DNS, Azure Firewalls, ExpressRoute, Virtual WANs, and vNet Peering. Experience provisioning Azure-hosted databases and working with a hybrid Azure tenant with some infrastructure in physical data centers is also required. Knowledge of Active Directory Identity and Access Management, as well as Platform as a Service features, is essential, along with skills in logging, monitoring, and alerting, including Monitor, Alerts, Dashboards, Sentinel, and Defender.
Responsibilities
As our Senior Cloud Engineer, you will report to the Cloud Operations Lead. Your responsibilities will include providing technical expertise, support, and specialist leadership in managing operational Cloud Operations services. You will support the delivery of projects by taking ownership and leading Cloud Operations-related work packages, tasks, and deliverables. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to foster and maintain excellent working relationships with staff at all levels. You will lead risk and issue management, owning identified risks through mitigation and closure.
