Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience currently working as a DevOps Engineer in production environments
- Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Linux, and Bash scripting
- Solid experience managing large MySQL database instances
- Proficient with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, OpenStack)
- Familiarity with DevOps and IaC tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong focus on security best practices, user access control, and GDPR compliance
- Capable of designing, testing, and executing backup and recovery plans
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, and Graylog
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and management of a next-generation SaaS-based Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system for the NHS.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and highly available deployments that support healthcare services 24/7.
Description
We are Halian Technology, seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer for a permanent position with a pioneering, industry-leading Medtech organization. We are looking for a UK-based professional with a strong background in DevOps and cloud infrastructure. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement based in Reading, with a salary range of £80,000 to £85,000 depending on experience, along with bonus and private medical care. Please note that you must be UK-based or have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this position.
