Requirements
Must:
I am looking for someone with a proven record of delivering digital or technology-enabled transformation, ideally with evidence of successful pilots or rollouts. You should possess strong programme and project management skills (Agile, PRINCE2, MSP) and have excellent stakeholder engagement abilities, with the capacity to influence at board and senior leadership levels. Familiarity with integration platforms, digital tools, or AI-driven solutions is essential, along with knowledge of governance, data protection, and risk management. A delivery-focused and collaborative approach that builds structures and brings people along is crucial.
Desirable qualifications include:
- A background in healthcare, NHS, or wider public sector transformation
- Experience in building or contributing to a PMO function
- An understanding of digital policy, compliance frameworks, and interoperability
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead multiple AI-enabled projects from pilot to full adoption, driving measurable benefits such as efficiency, workforce enablement, and improved decision-making. You will establish programme governance and support the PMO to build delivery capability. Partnering with directors, senior leaders, and technology providers will be key to embedding solutions effectively, while engaging clinical and operational teams in change and adoption is vital. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior project managers and supporting skills development across the function, as well as ensuring that all projects are delivered with strong governance and compliance standards.
