Must:
We are looking for a successful Lead Machine Learning Engineer who has proven experience managing a team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers. You should have several years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer, with some of that experience in a Senior or Lead capacity. It is important that you have experience delivering production-level ML solutions at scale within a reputable company or data science function. Experience in customer-centric environments such as retail, telecoms, or B2C industries is preferred.
Responsibilities
As our Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you will manage a team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers, taking direct line management responsibilities including training and personal development, performance evaluation, and making hiring decisions. You will technically lead key Machine Learning and AI initiatives within the Data Science function, remaining hands-on when necessary. Furthermore, you will engage with senior-level business stakeholders, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and demonstrating the value of AI and ML through your projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to spearhead an ML and Data Science team to deliver impactful production-level machine learning projects at scale for our business. You can expect a competitive salary of up to £110,000, a car allowance, and a 30% bonus, with the flexibility to work in our London office just one day per week.
