Must:
As the hiring company, we expect you to bring engineering expertise in complex Salesforce environments, with experience in Copado for CI/CD being a plus. You should have strong and proven experience with a well-known cloud PaaS, preferably Azure. Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting is essential. Additionally, strong programming skills in languages such as C#, PowerShell, scripting languages, JavaScript, and Python are necessary. You should also be experienced with common infrastructure platforms and services, including Azure, Nginx, HAProxy, Consul/etcd, and Splunk. Familiarity with containerization systems like Kubernetes and Docker is advantageous. Proven experience with Azure DevOps and multi-stage pipelines for managing large-scale software estates, as well as strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/3, AMQP, streaming protocols) and cloud network design, is expected. You should also possess strong database knowledge and experience in relational, graph, and document databases, along with various consistency models, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code toolchains such as Terraform.

Responsibilities

In the role of Lead Platform Engineer, you will take ownership of evolving and building a new Digital Platform that is performant at scale, secure, compliant with regulations, and meets availability requirements. You will document existing processes and automate them using software you write or third-party tools. Your responsibilities will include building, operating, and maintaining Cloud Infrastructure—optimizing the PaaS infrastructure in Azure and SaaS platform components like Salesforce. You will collaborate with product engineering teams to recommend development changes and liaise with internal service providers to enhance the speed and reliability of end-to-end solutions and CI/CD processes. Working closely with our information security teams, you'll implement security policies efficiently and flexibly. You'll design, build, operate, monitor, and alert on technology for large, complex multi-site applications, improving and automating operational processes such as deployments and upgrades. Your role will also entail tracing issues across multiple systems and collaborating with developers to diagnose root causes. Lastly, you'll work within agile programs and teams, adhering to Scrum or Kanban principles.
