Lead Platform Engineer - Bradford

In this role, I will take charge of evolving and building a new Digital Platform that is performant at scale, secure, compliant with internal and industry regulations, and meets availability requirements. My tasks will include: - Documenting existing processes and automating them using my own software and/or third-party tools. - Building, operating, and maintaining the Cloud Infrastructure, including PaaS infrastructure in Azure and SaaS platform components like Salesforce. - Collaborating with product engineering teams to recommend development changes. - Liaising with internal service suppliers and product teams to enhance speed and reliability in end-to-end solutions and associated CI/CD processes. - Working closely with information security teams to implement security policies efficiently and flexibly. - Designing, building, operating, monitoring, and alerting technology for complex multi-site B2C and B2B applications. - Creating comprehensive documentation and software to ensure all actions are repeatable. - Improving and automating operational processes such as deployments, upgrades, and internal workflows. - Tracing issues through multiple systems and collaborating with developers to find and diagnose root causes. - Working with internal customers of my Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) products to ensure effective lifecycle management. - Participating in an agile program and adhering to Scrum or Kanban principles.
