Lead Platform Engineer - Bournemouth

In this role, I will be responsible for: - Documenting existing processes and automating them using custom software or third-party tools. - Building, operating, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure, especially PaaS in Azure and SaaS components like Salesforce. - Collaborating with product engineering teams to recommend development changes. - Liaising with internal service suppliers and product teams to enhance speed and reliability of end-to-end solutions and associated CI/CD processes. - Working with information security teams to ensure the efficient and flexible implementation of security policies. - Designing, building, operating, monitoring, and alerting technology for large, complex multi-site B2C and B2B applications. - Creating comprehensive documentation and software for repeatable actions. - Improving and automating operational processes, including deployments, upgrades, and internal workflows. - Tracing issues through multiple systems and collaborating with developers to diagnose root causes. - Providing support to internal customers of SRE products, ensuring proper lifecycle management is maintained. - Working within Agile programs, adhering to Scrum or Kanban principles.
