Requirements
Must:
- Engineering expertise in complicated Salesforce environments; experience with Copado for CI/CD is beneficial.
- Strong and proven experience with a well-known cloud PaaS, preferably Azure.
- Familiarity with Linux and shell environments.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, PowerShell, scripting languages, JavaScript, and Python.
- Experience with common infrastructure platforms, applications, and services, including Azure, Nginx, HAProxy, Consul/etcd, and Splunk.
- Experience with containerization systems such as Kubernetes and Docker is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and multi-stage pipelines to manage large-scale software estates from an operational perspective, including build, release, monitoring, rollbacks, and high availability.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/3, AMQP, and cloud network design concepts (e.g. VPNs, subnets, regions/zones) as well as integration-related technologies (e.g. Auth0, APIM).
- Strong database knowledge and experience covering relational, graph, and document databases, alongside various consistency models.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolchains such as Terraform.

Responsibilities
- Document existing processes and automate them using custom software or third-party tools.
- Build, operate, maintain, and collaborate with Engineering and Architecture to optimize all Cloud Infrastructure, including Azure's PaaS and SaaS platform components like Salesforce.
- Work with product engineering teams to provide recommendations for development changes.
- Liaise with internal service suppliers and product teams to enhance speed and reliability in end-to-end solutions and associated CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate with our information security teams to efficiently implement security policies.
- Design, build, operate, monitor, and alert on technology for large, complex multi-site B2C and B2B applications.
- Create comprehensive documentation and software to ensure all actions are repeatable.
- Improve and automate operational processes, such as deployments, upgrades, and internal workflows.
- Trace issues through multiple systems, working with developers to diagnose root causes.
- Engage with internal customers of SRE products, ensuring lifecycle management is in place.
- Participate in an agile program and teams, adhering to Scrum or Kanban principles.
