Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with proven experience as a Software Developer, specifically proficiency in the backend language, C#. A strong history of software craftsmanship and an appreciation for clean, well-designed codebases is essential. You should have experience developing desktop and web-based applications with SQL databases. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is important, including attending relevant ceremonies and solving complex problems collaboratively with team members. Ideally, you should have experience in automating environment provisioning, build, deployment, and test pipelines to support a continuous delivery approach in a DevOps culture. Additionally, you should be familiar with version control systems, and experience with tools like Jira and common technology stacks is a plus.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with Development colleagues and product managers to create secure and well-functioning software solutions. You will collaborate with front-end developers to write effective and secure RESTful APIs, ensuring that they are well-documented and optimized for performance. Part of your responsibilities will include developing and managing efficient databases, running diagnostics, and implementing resolutions for software faults. You will test software to ensure it meets agreed-upon requirements and remains responsive and efficient. It will also be your duty to ensure that all business-critical services run smoothly, managing escalations and following tasks through to completion. Additionally, you will assist with the maintenance of automated provisioning and testing environments, as well as the automated build and deployment of solutions. Contributing to the development of team processes will be essential to ensure cohesion, efficiency, and effectiveness, while embracing Agile methodologies and engaging in the performance management process.
