Requirements
Must:
We require a Design Authority who has experience delivering architecture in UK Government or Law Enforcement environments. A strong consulting background is essential, with the ability to deliver at pace. Expertise in enterprise architecture, design frameworks, and modeling techniques is highly desired. You should be skilled in developing Target Operating Models (TOMs), blueprints, and transformation roadmaps. Familiarity with modern enterprise architecture patterns and service/system-oriented architecture is needed. Proficiency in TOGAF, MODAF, Archimate, BPMN, UML, and EA tools such as MooD, BizzDesign, or Enterprise Architect is also expected. Additionally, you must hold an eDV level security clearance due to the nature of our clients' work.
Responsibilities
As a Design Authority, you will engage with stakeholders to understand business strategies and capability maturity. You'll define target business architectures and roadmaps aligned with strategic goals. Leading the development of integrated models across people, processes, and information domains will be a key part of your role. You will guide delivery teams by socializing architecture artifacts and ensuring alignment throughout all phases. Participation in governance forums to provide architectural direction and decision support is essential. You'll support business process redesign, transformation, and assurance activities, help build internal architecture capability, identify risks related to business architecture, and support business development efforts.
