Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer / Product Developer with proven experience in the following areas:
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Azure Cloud and Azure Function Apps
- GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows
- JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
- Microsoft Entra (Authentication and Authorization)
- SQL/PostgreSQL and networking fundamentals
- A strong Agile delivery background
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively across squads
- You must be based in the UK, as we cannot offer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Build and manage shared infrastructure using Terraform
- Develop internal tooling and services in TypeScript and Python
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Support and develop Azure Function Apps and cloud infrastructure
- Implement secure identity and access controls using Microsoft Entra
- Collaborate across engineering teams to enforce standards and governance
- Contribute to release management and developer support
Description
This is an exciting contract opportunity for a DevOps Engineer / Product Developer to support the delivery of a major platform transformation. The position is Inside IR35, predominantly remote with occasional travel to Aberdeen as required. The duration of the contract is 4 months, with potential for extension, and we aim to have you start as soon as possible.
