Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with 8-10 years of experience in the development and maintenance of complex banking applications, particularly in credit card processing. A strong knowledge of the VisionPLUS product is essential, along with hands-on experience in one or more VisionPLUS modules, such as CMS, FAS, TRAMS, LTS, ASM, VMX, or WINGSFM. Proficiency in COBOL and CICS is required, and candidates must be well-versed in mainframe technologies, including Endevor, Changeman, and batch scheduling activities. Experience in the design and development of medium to high-complexity problems is also a must. Additionally, we seek individuals with a good understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of banking applications. You will tackle complex problems and contribute to the design and development of solutions using VisionPLUS and its associated modules. You will collaborate with team members in an Agile environment and participate in DevOps practices to ensure seamless application delivery. Effective communication will be key, as you will interact with various stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver high-quality solutions.
Description
The position is based in Sheffield and is offered on a contract basis until December 31, 2025. The rate for this role is £350 per day, paid through PAYE via an umbrella company.
