Requirements
Must:
As a Senior Architect - VMware, I expect you to have proven experience designing and implementing VMware Horizon View in secure enterprises. You should possess deep knowledge of VMware vSAN architecture and performance optimization, along with strong VMware vCenter and ESXi host management skills. Expertise in Horizon planning, including display protocols (Blast Extreme, PCoIP), desktop pools, and application provisioning is essential. I appreciate an individual who can work independently, influence decisions, and take ownership of outcomes. It is desirable for you to hold a VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification or an equivalent. Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for image automation will also be advantageous.
Responsibilities
In your role as a Senior Architect - VMware, you will lead the end-to-end architecture for VMware vSphere, vSAN, and Horizon View. I expect you to define and deliver VDI solutions that ensure high performance and secure remote access. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and steer technical discussions with stakeholders. Additionally, producing clear, high-quality design documents and implementation guides will be a crucial part of your responsibilities.
