We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong proficiency in Go (Golang), particularly in writing modular and reusable code. You should have hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry Collector, agents, and SDKs, as well as proven experience in deploying and managing observability tools within on-premises infrastructure. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions is essential, alongside experience with Linux systems, networking, and containerization (Docker). An understanding of monitoring and tracing tools such as Prometheus, Jaeger, and Grafana is required. You must also have excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience contributing to OpenTelemetry or other open-source observability projects, familiarity with enterprise environments (such as VMware, bare-metal servers, or hybrid cloud), knowledge of security and compliance considerations in on-prem deployments, and experience with scripting languages (such as Bash or Python) for automation.
