Requirements
Must:
We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Architect / Consultant with expertise in defining and maintaining multi-cloud security standards and reference blueprints, such as Azure Policy/Initiatives and AWS Control Tower/SCPs. You should possess experience with blueprint catalogues and architecture governance processes, as well as a working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes policy models. Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS risk models and audit frameworks is essential.
The ideal candidate will have strong regulatory sector experience and excellent written communication skills, enabling you to effectively influence and educate teams through guidance, clinics, and coaching sessions.
Key technical skills include:
- Azure: Policy/Initiatives, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, PIM
- AWS: Control Tower, SCPs, Security Hub, GuardDuty, IAM
- Security & Monitoring: Microsoft Sentinel (KQL), Defender XDR, audit dashboards
- Documentation & Governance: Blueprint repositories, risk registers, ITSM/CAB records
Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will lead governance, architecture guidance, and assurance for cloud and infrastructure security across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and key SaaS platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning security architecture patterns and contributing to High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD), threat models, and risk assessments.
- Setting assurance criteria and control evidence requirements for internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Establishing policy-as-code requirements and maintaining an exceptions register with expiry and risk ownership.
- Defining identity and access control standards, including Entra ID Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and AWS IAM federation.
- Governing SaaS security onboarding, including SSO, OAuth governance, DLP controls, and vendor assessments.
- Specifying telemetry and logging requirements for Microsoft Sentinel/SOC and reviewing analytics/reporting.
- Leading compliance mapping for ISO 27001 and curating audit-ready evidence packs.
- Chairing Cloud & Platform Security design reviews and participating in Change Advisory Board (CAB) for risk appraisal.
Description
This is a hybrid role, requiring flexibility to attend meetings and workshops. You will work closely with IT and platform teams to embed best practices, validate implementations, and support audit readiness across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
