Requirements
Must:
- I require experience as an NX and Teamcenter user, with proficiency in configuring these toolsets to align with specific OEM approved standards and processes.
- You should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- NX Structure Designer
- NX for Ship Building Authoring
- NX Check-Mate
- NXOpen
- NX Product Template Studio (PTS)
- NX Visual Reporting
- XML coding relevant to the above.
- It would be beneficial if you have submarine structures design experience.
- You should be capable of providing training to other team members in NX and Teamcenter as well as configuring toolsets.
Responsibilities
- I will rely on you to deploy submarine-specific parameters into the toolset configuration to facilitate the correct use and expected data output from CAD & PLM.
- Since the team cannot directly affect certain configuration settings, you will be responsible for designing and seeking agreement on change processes with necessary stakeholders to ensure timely modifications supporting normal business operations.
- You will oversee the ongoing maintenance of submarine-specific parameters within the toolset, utilizing new features as they emerge as the tool evolves.
- Your role will involve leveraging experience from deploying and maintaining submarine parameters to establish data governance solutions that will review, report, and ensure data quality.

- The Application Configuration Team plays a critical role in maintaining program-specific parameters during the detail design phase of major shipbuilding programs. As our organization evolves, the need for this function has shifted into a specialized team. The Application Configuration team is tasked with bridging the current gaps in the SSN AUKUS program, especially with the integration of CAD and PLM applications. - Recognizing past challenges with data governance activities and their impacts on data quality and build transitions, we prioritize early implementation of data governance capabilities to enhance overall program performance. The hybrid working model promotes flexibility and collaboration in achieving our objectives.
