Requirements
Must:
We require an APEX Developer with in-depth knowledge of the Oracle APEX web-based application development toolset. You should have demonstrable competence in developing complex server-side PL/SQL code for data input validation, as well as experience with JavaScript. A disciplined and methodical approach to configuration control is essential. Additionally, valid SC Clearance is required for this role.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead requirement analysis and the production and review of technical design solutions for large and complex programmes that support the UK submarine fleet. You will be responsible for leading efficient software development that emphasizes good design, considering aspects such as code reuse and innovative implementation methodologies. You will apply your technical experience and knowledge to evaluate solutions while maintaining an awareness of alternatives that can be advised, analysed, and modelled. Furthermore, you will attend workshops, reviews, and stand-ups to discuss the development project and demonstrate progress to project stakeholders. You are also expected to share your knowledge with team members and collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Database Administrators, and Infrastructure resources to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Description
This is a hybrid role with an expectation of being on-site two days a week in either Plymouth, Bristol, or Leicester. The contract is offered at £550.00 per day, and it falls inside IR35.
