We are seeking a detail-oriented engineering professional with experience in change management and configuration control. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, communicates confidently across departments, and is able to lead the execution of technical documentation within tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- I will coordinate and implement Engineering Change Notices across functional departments.
- I will contribute to configuration documentation including Configuration Management Plans (CMPs), Configuration Specifications (CSAs), and Configuration Status Reports (CSRs).
- I will participate in Configuration Control Boards and support audits with actionable outcomes.
- I will liaise with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure that changes are understood and executed.
- I will capture costs, support rework/repair orders, and participate in material review boards.
Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Configuration Controller to support a high-profile defence engineering organisation based in the Stockport area. In this role, I will focus on overseeing configuration activities, ensuring engineering changes are accurately implemented and controlled, and contributing to key project documentation and governance. In return, I offer a salary of up to £45k, 25 days of holiday, and a 7% pension.
