Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- I am looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience in delivering complex Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, and Logistics solutions within a 3PL or commercial WMS environment.
- Strong Project Management skills are essential, with proven capability to deliver well-documented solutions within the constraints of time, cost, and functionality.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work with remote teams and remote customers across numerous geographies and time zones.
- Extensive experience with supply chain/logistics applications and processes is a must.
- A good understanding of databases and schemas is required, as well as the ability to develop and interpret detailed and complex technical documentation.
- I expect a general knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of EDI messaging and Enterprise Integration solutions is essential.
Responsibilities
As an IT Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and architecting IT solutions that incorporate engineering solutions, operational, and customer-specific requirements.
- Producing Functional Specifications to support the delivery of new business projects and customer change requests.
- Working closely with Customers, IT Analyst teams, Business Development teams, Engineering, Process Engineering, and Operational teams.
- Facilitating solution design workshops.
- Conducting business analysis, gap reviews, impact assessments, and documenting Functional Requirements.
- Designing practical, efficient, and cost-effective solutions, providing options with benefits, risks, and recommendations included.
- Completing Functional Specifications that meet solution design and customer requirements with appropriate sign-offs.
- Acting as the subject matter expert and point of contact for the overall solution throughout the project life cycle.
- Supporting and assisting during project test phases, including QA, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Managing, diagnosing, and prioritizing issue logging in conjunction with the IT Project Manager.
- Performing Integration Analysis to support the integration of our application with customer systems.
- Supporting solution deployments from concept through the live/warranty phase.
- Reviewing and approving delivered software prior to promotion into production environments.
- Communicating and liaising with all key stakeholders.
