Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience working as an AWS DevOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Services such as EC2, ECS, and ECR (essential).
- Proficient in Terraform or similar technologies.
- Practical experience with Jenkins and Git.
- Familiarity with scripting tools such as Shell, Python, Groovy, or similar.
- Experience with Docker.
- SC cleared candidates are preferred; however, candidates eligible for SC Clearance will also be considered if they meet the above skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and support scalable AWS infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline.
- Integrate security tools into CI/CD processes.
- Use Chef or Ansible for server configuration and patching.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems.
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and AWS.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure alignment of infrastructure with business needs.
Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a Global Services Provider seeking an SC Cleared AWS Engineer for an initial 6-month contract, offering a competitive daily rate of £340 - £360 (Inside IR35). The role is primarily remote, with infrequent travel to London. Further information will be available upon application.
