- As a WCA Functional Specialist, I will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of claimants’ health conditions or disabilities and evaluating how these affect their daily lives for the Government’s Work Capability Assessment (WCA) benefit. - I will prepare each case prior to assessment and reach evidence-based conclusions for each individual. - In this role, I will enjoy greater job variety and autonomy, managing cases to conclusion which includes gathering further evidence and returning all required documentation to the department. - My responsibilities will also include assessing a wide range of health conditions and disabilities, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments. - I will have designated time in my working rota for breaks, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings.

This is an exciting hybrid working opportunity for Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Paramedics to leverage their existing clinical knowledge and take on a new role with a leading multi-national employer. Full-time roles are available with a basic salary range of £38,500 - £39,500. My working hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm in a hybrid role, with full-time working hours available. I will undergo training for up to 12 weeks, and I can take advantage of benefits such as 25 days of holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service, a company laptop and mobile phone, access to health and wellbeing programs, and more. I can also participate in an annual charity day and earn extra pay through overtime, with opportunities for up to an additional £1,500 per month. Other employee benefits include a company-matched pension, life assurance, enhanced maternity leave of 15 weeks, and a cycle-to-work scheme. Work Location: In person. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent. Pay: £38,500 - £43,450 per year.
