Requirements
Must:
- A degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Demonstrable commercial experience in iOS and/or Android platform development, ideally utilizing location services, online maps, compass functionality, and device tilt sensors.
- Experience with object-oriented design using C, C++, or Java.
- Familiarity with UI design using either Android Native UI or iOS Objective-C UI/Swift components.
- Any exposure to graphics (OpenGL, Shaders), Qt mobile GUI, Android Studio IDE, Xcode IDE, .NET MAUI, or Xamarin is desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect the selected candidate to engage in software coding, interface design, testing, and deployment of mobile applications. As we look to develop further features for our iOS and Android applications that provide essential tools for digital mapping in the geological sector, the Software Developer will play an integral part in expanding our product range.
Description
This position is based onsite at our offices in Guildford, and we do not offer regular remote or hybrid working arrangements.
