Requirements
Must:
- A strong track record of successful end-to-end IT Infrastructure project delivery in global environments.
- Experience in managing multiple large-scale projects, particularly in areas such as cloud, data centres, networking, end-user technology, or security.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and global programme structures within the banking sector.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior business and IT stakeholders.
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly desired.
Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Project Manager, I will entrust you with the successful end-to-end delivery of critical technology change initiatives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with our global technology strategy. Typical project areas include:
- Core banking infrastructure upgrades, hardware modernisation, system resilience, and disaster recovery projects.
- Data centre migrations and hybrid cloud transitions (AWS, Azure, private cloud).
- End User Computing refresh programmes, including Windows 10/11 upgrades, VDI rollouts, and Office 365/M365 migrations.
- Network and security upgrades, which encompass WAN/LAN refresh, SD-WAN, and firewall/security infrastructure enhancements.
- Cybersecurity initiatives involving IAM (Identity and Access Management), SIEM integration, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Infrastructure for regulatory change programmes, such as Basel III and MiFID II support.
- DevOps enablement projects, including CI/CD pipelines and tooling standardisation.
