Must:
We seek a Test Engineer with the following skills and experience:
- Maintain and refine UI automated tests using Java, with an awareness of automated API testing and knowledge of common engineering practices.
- Understanding of non-functional testing techniques, including Performance, Compatibility, Security, and Accessibility.
- Effective communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with Agile testing and delivery principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with the testing lifecycle, including test generation, reporting, and defect management.
Responsibilities
As an Associate Test Engineer, I’ll be an integral part of a multi-functional agile delivery team. My primary responsibilities include:
- Working alongside other engineers to solve problems and enable consistency.
- Building automation tests to assure the quality of our products and contribute to their design while seeking to improve the value of automation.
- Supporting teams in integrating usability, accessibility, security, stability, and capacity into service development.
- Taking a risk-based and context-driven approach to agile testing, assessing risks to drive decisions with support.
- Understanding continuous integration, delivery, and deployment concepts.
- Maintaining traceability of testing, risks, defects, and reporting progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Identifying test data requirements and creating data sets.
- Committing to continuous personal development, learning, and training.
