Requirements
Must:
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), particularly in designing and maintaining SAP-based integrations.
- Technical expertise in SAP S/4HANA and cloud integration scenarios, including hybrid environments.
- Proficiency in IBM Integration Bus (IIB), encompassing message transformation, routing, and API management.
- Experience with SAP IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and SOAP/REST APIs.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queuing systems, such as MQ and JMS.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex integration and data flow issues.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including OAuth, SAML, encryption, and authentication in integration scenarios.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple integration projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, developers, and business users.
- Experience with SAP system upgrades, patches, and testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support integrations between SAP and various enterprise applications using SAP CPI and IBM Integration Bus (IIB) middleware.
- Monitor and maintain end-to-end integration performance to ensure high availability and minimal disruptions.
- Support the migration of legacy interfaces to modern integration platforms, optimizing efficiency and security.
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot IIB message flows, APIs, and transformations.
- Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and external vendors to facilitate seamless data exchange across business systems.
Description
We are seeking an Integration Developer based in Birmingham for a permanent role with hybrid working options (1-2 days per week onsite). The salary is up to £75,000.
