Requirements

Must:
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in Oracle Fusion applications, particularly in reporting and analytics. You should have a strong knowledge of Oracle reporting tools, including OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Analytics, SCM Analytics, and ERP Analytics. A proven track record of leading cross-functional delivery teams is essential, including experience with both offshore and onshore technical and functional reporting resources. You should possess exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with experience conducting workshops and managing stakeholder expectations. Strong project management skills are needed, including prioritization of tasks and managing competing deadlines. An analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions is crucial. Familiarity with governance and best practices for reporting within Oracle Fusion, particularly in the Public Sector, is also required.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will expect you to provide team leadership by setting priorities and ensuring deliverables align with the project timeline and objectives. You will oversee the reporting catalogue mapping and gapping, ensuring alignment between the reporting catalogue and business requirements. You will act as the primary point of contact for reporting-related escalations and effectively resolve issues. Developing a reporting strategy that aligns with our overarching goals for process standardization, data integrity, and improved decision-making will also be a key responsibility. Maintaining open lines of communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide regular updates on the progress of the reporting workstream will be essential. Additionally, you will promote governance and best practices by encouraging the use of standardized reporting solutions to minimize customizations. You will identify risks related to reporting delivery and proactively implement mitigation strategies, addressing and resolving reporting-related escalations promptly to avoid project delays.

Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver one of the largest and most complex Oracle Fusion implementations in Northern Ireland. The program is currently in the design stage, allowing you to have real input into the end solution and the subsequent managed service. This is a complex yet socially rewarding Oracle Fusion implementation with very little travel required, and it is a public sector solution that genuinely improves outcomes for everyone in Northern Ireland. Since the program is at the design stage, you'll not be correcting historical mistakes, giving you a significant voice in shaping the successful solution. This long-term program will transition into a managed service business-as-usual phase over the next 10 years. You will be working with some of the best talent in the UK Oracle Fusion implementation field and will be part of building the Northern Ireland delivery team for a recognizable global brand. This role will play a pivotal part in implementing Oracle Fusion applications, including HCM, Payroll, ERP, and SCM functional modules, while overseeing the end-to-end reporting workstream and managing reporting requirements.
