Requirements
Must:
- I seek candidates with in-depth knowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), encompassing infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud-native experience.
- Experience with hypervisors, specifically Hyper-V in Nutanix clusters, as well as skills in Virtual Machine provisioning, live migration, cloning, snapshots, and Disaster Recovery within HCI environments are essential.
- I require individuals who can troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and network layers.
- Technical leadership and mentoring skills are a must.
- I value candidates who are collaborative and pragmatic, possess great communication skills, and are comfortable working with other teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- In this Lead Infrastructure Engineer role, I expect you to play a pivotal part in building and enhancing the infrastructure that powers our fast-growing retail brokerage business, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the infrastructure.
- You will take the lead in designing secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure, which includes on-premise, cloud, and hybrid solutions.
- Collaboration is key; you will work closely with software engineers, DevOps, and SRE teams to align infrastructure with application requirements and define infrastructure standards across various teams.
- Your expertise in Nutanix HCI will be crucial, as you will manage several thousand virtual machines and assist in driving the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
