Requirements
Must:
- I have commercial Rust development experience on Linux.
- I possess experience in building low latency, parallel services.
- I have successfully built highly scalable systems designed to accommodate large data and traffic volumes while maintaining extremely low latencies.
- I am familiar with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying services.
- Ideally, I have a good understanding of blockchain fundamentals and the mechanics of the EVM.
- I hold a strong record of academic achievement in Computer Science.
- I am collaborative and have experience working with remote, geographically dispersed colleagues.
Responsibilities
- As a Back End Developer, I will join a small technology team and work with Rust on the core platform.
- I will be responsible for building low latency and highly parallelized systems, focusing on the data layer.
- I will tackle complex problems and create highly scalable systems to accommodate large data and traffic volumes while maintaining extremely low latencies.
Description
I am excited to offer a position with a salary of up to £150k, with remote working options and flexible start/finish times. I will be joining an early-stage start-up focused on revolutionizing capital efficiency and permissionless access to liquidity in the cryptocurrency space. The company has secure backing, and a recent funding round is allowing for scaling. There is a remote-first policy, allowing me to work from home most of the time, with three one-week team meet-ups per year at global destinations (the last one was in Thailand).
