Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Flight Simulation Software Engineer with the following experience and skills:
- Proficiency in C programming.
- A solid practical understanding of the Systems Engineering V-model and/or the Software Development Lifecycle.
- A strong drive, enthusiasm, and can-do attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- The capability to work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- An appropriate engineering degree or equivalent (focused on mathematics, science, or engineering) or proven engineering experience in the aviation/aerospace industry.
Desirable skills and competencies include:
- Experience with safety-critical systems and software in aerospace, automotive, or related industries.
- Familiarity with web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, etc.
- Proficiency in C# & C++ programming.
- Experience in Windows application development using Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of ARINC, AFDX, and/or CAN bus protocols.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo).

Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Develop real-time software for flight simulators, covering everything from control systems to graphical user interfaces.
- Support integration and testing, including fault finding and problem rectification on simulated systems.
- Play an integral role in the full lifecycle of the product, from requirements analysis to customer acceptance and post-delivery customer support.
